Eye therapy

My son started wearing glasses when he was four, he is now eight. the glasses he has when he was four was for someone who was almost blind is what one eye doctor said and it was wrong, so he was wearing the wrong strength for four years. This summer I found him another doctor, this said that his vision is almost perfect but he has a little bit of a focus problem, so he got a much weaker strength and bifocals. I then heard of vision therapy. It cost a lot and insurance does not cover it but I tried it anyway. He did some test on him, had him walk, checked some reflexes, looked into his eyes with bright lights, and had him read the chart. He said that his current glasses are wrong. his vision is almost perfect, but he needs prisms to help bring his world into focus. i like this doctor.
